33mm Modular Hex Terrain – Terrain Block Expansion

This product is part of the TUF32 system, which uses a 33mm hex grid.
It is not compatible with the 1 Inch Modular Hex Terrain system.

TUF Modular Hex Terrain is a modular terrain system designed to build stable, repeatable 3D battlefields for tactical tabletop games. This Terrain Block Expansion is intended to expand an existing 33mm TUF terrain setup by adding additional elevation and structure.

Terrain Blocks interlock directly with TUF Base Plates, allowing you to increase height, create cliffs, and add vertical complexity without shifting or unstable stacking.

What This Expansion Does

This expansion adds additional Terrain Blocks to your existing TUF 33mm terrain collection.

Use it to:

• Add more elevation and vertical variety

• Build taller structures and layered terrain

• Create more complex and tactically interesting maps

• Support larger or multi-level battlefields

This kit does not include base plates or color tiles.

TUF System Components

The TUF Modular System is built from three core components:

• Base Plates – The foundational hex grid that forms the map layout

• Terrain Blocks – Interlocking elevation pieces that add height and structure

• Color Tiles – Snap-in tiles used to represent terrain types or zones

Each component connects securely to create maps that stay locked in place during play.

This Terrain Block Expansion includes:

• 26 × Terrain Blocks (60 hexes total)

  • 2 × Seven-Hex Blocks

  • 4 × Three-Hex Cluster Blocks

  • 4 × Three-Hex Line Blocks

  • 6 × Double-Hex Blocks

  • 10 × Single-Hex Blocks

Expand Over Time

Additional Base Plates, Terrain Blocks, and Color Tiles are available in separate expansion kits, allowing you to scale your battlefield as your table and scenarios grow.
