Welcome to The Upgrade Factory, home of TUF Modular Terrain designed for education, tabletop games, and much more. We've developed this modular system for repeated use, with high quality parts, and easy to set up designs.
Education
These base plates when combines with hex blocks and color tiles allow for a wide use of educational purposes. For more information see our Education page. Tabletop Gaming
Popular games such as Battle Tech or Lancer become more immersive with 3-dimensional terrain. For years we used flat maps, either hand drawn or printed, and decided it was time for something more. Using this terrain helps visualize varying scenes, and improves mechanics such as line of sight, all without requiring specifically aesthetic tiles for each and every type of biome or ambience.
